Natural Colour Variation – Important Product Information

This supplement is made with natural marigold flower extract, providing lutein and zeaxanthin, without artificial colours, preservatives or unnecessary fillers.

Because natural plant carotenoids are sensitive to oxygen, light and temperature, the capsules may gradually change from a lighter yellow-orange shade to a slightly darker orange shade.

The colour may also change unevenly, meaning that lighter and darker capsules can appear together within the same pouch, even when they originate from the same production batch.

Natural colour variation is a normal characteristic of a clean-label botanical extract.

Colour variation alone does not indicate a product defect when the product remains within specification and has been stored according to the stated storage instructions.

Our supplements are produced in small, fresh batches and packed in professionally controlled, humidity-managed rooms before being carefully sealed to help preserve freshness.

Why May Natural Capsule Colour Vary?

O₂

Oxygen

Natural carotenoid pigments can gradually change when exposed to oxygen.

☀️

Light

Exposure to light can influence visible colour changes.

🌡️

Temperature

Storage temperature can influence the rate of natural colour change.

🌼

Natural Extract

Botanical extracts may naturally display differences in shade and appearance.

Lighter & Darker Capsules in the Same Pouch

Natural colour change may not occur evenly. Within the same pouch, some capsules may remain lighter while others become slightly darker sooner. This type of visual variation can occur naturally in botanical carotenoid extracts and does not, by itself, demonstrate that different ingredients or different production batches have been used.

Storage Instructions

Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, heat and moisture.
After each use, gently remove excess air from the pouch and reseal it tightly.
Keep out of reach of young children.

Tell your story

Slide 2

After 8 days my finger was still strangely red, hot, swollen and painful, the diagnosis was a flare up of gout, surprising for a long time vegan. Preferring a natural remedy to any pharma medication, my online research suggested a few fruits and vegetables but also Milk Thistle might help. British Vitamins despatched my order very quickly and after 2 days, 1 capsule per day, the redness had gone, the swelling and pain significantly reduced. After a week my finger was back to normal except for a hardly noticeable though hard lump on the top joint. As I've continued to take Milk Thistle daily, even this hard lump is dissipating. Another experience of the magical healing power of the natural world!!

Hi Dr. Newman, thank you so much for sharing your positive experience! We're delighted to hear how Milk Thistle has helped your recovery. Wishing you continued health and wellbeing!
